Display Contentclass in Search Results

Sometimes SharePoint search will return a bunch of stuff you don't want. Lists, list view pages, etc are all items that usually aren't that useful to an end user searching for a document. It's easy to exclude these items by Creating a Custom Search Scope ane excluding items by contentclass. However, it's not always easy to tell what contentclass a particular item is.
By providing custom XSL to the Core Search Results Web Part you can display the contentclass for each item in search results can be displayed. This makes it a lot easier to set up exclusion rules for items of a specific contentclass.
Changes to default XSL
The easiest thing to do is grab the XSL that is currently used for the Core Search Results Web Part, copy it into Notepad, add a small bit of XSL, and then paste it back into the web part.
The XSL to add is located in the <xsl:template match="Result"> XSL template. At the bottom of the template, add a single line of XSL as shown in context below.
