Q: Ummm... Doesn't SharePoint 2007 have a Wiki? Why aren't you using that??

A: Yes. WSS 3.0 does ship with a Wiki component. And for a first release it's pretty good. However, it hasn't reached the maturity yet to host a large public facing site such as this. It's great for internal sites and if you have a SharePoint-based portal using SharePoint's wiki makes a ton of sense. But in an environment like this, it's not the best choice.

Q: Can I contribute?

A: Absolutely! The more participants we have the better information we'll get. This is a community-driven site and the more the merrier.
